A collaboration with the Houston Regional Veterans Chamber of Commerce (HRVCC).
The HCC Veterans Entrepreneurship Program (VEP) is designed to help Veterans, Military Spouses, and Dependents start and grow a small business. This powerful three-stage program equips you with the skills, tools, and opportunities to succeed.
What the VEP Offers:
✅ Cutting-edge digital technology training from industry experts
✅ Practical business skills through HCC’s Small Business Success Series & STRIVE Program
✅ Access to a local launchpad via the Houston Regional Veterans Chamber of Commerce
✅ Entry into HCC’s entrepreneurial ecosystem (Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses, HCC Business Plan Competition, Rice University’s Veteran Business Battle & more)
✅ A unique Pitch Competition for Veterans & Military family members
3 Stages of the Program:
✔️ Stage 1: Practical Digital Skills (via Verizon Small Business Digital Ready)
✔️ Stage 2: Practical Business Skills (via STRIVE)
Important Dates for Stage 2 (STRIVE):
📌 Deadline to submit: October 2, 2025
📌 Orientation: October 4, 2025 | 8 AM – 4 PM | Lunch provided
📍 Orientation is IN-PERSON (location details will be sent after registration)
💻 Remaining courses in the program will be held VIRTUAL
