The Houston Military Retiree Appreciation Day (RAD) is an annual event dedicated to serving military retirees, surviving spouses, and their families. Attendees can receive the latest information regarding retirement benefits and access valuable services, including ID cards, legal assistance, wills, immunizations, healthcare resources, veterans benefits information, and more.
Representatives from military, veteran, healthcare, and community organizations will be available, including Fort Sam Houston Retirement Services, VA Healthcare, VA Benefits, USAA, TRICARE, Delta Dental, the City of Houston, and many others.
Vendor & Organization Participation
There is no cost to participate. Organizations interested in reserving a table should confirm attendance with the event organizers as soon as possible.
Security Requirements
Access to Ellington Field is strictly enforced. Participants without a DoD ID card must submit required identification documentation no later than August 14, 2026.
