Dr. Ravi P. Brahmbhatt is an experienced entrepreneur, educator, accredited investor, and veteran business advocate dedicated to creating economic opportunities for small business owners and veteran entrepreneurs across Texas. A technology and media entrepreneur turned educator, he combines entrepreneurial experience, academic leadership, and a deep commitment to innovation and economic development.

 

Dr. Brahmbhatt has supported the launch and growth of more than three dozen veteran-owned businesses in the Houston region. His entrepreneurship initiatives have earned national and regional recognition, including producing two Hall of Fame Veteran Entrepreneurs of the Year through the NACCE Everyday Entrepreneurs Fund and multiple SBA Veterans Business of the Year award recipients. He has also led a cohort of veteran entrepreneurs to India for a global pitch competition, creating opportunities for international exposure and growth.

 

Since 2022, Dr. Brahmbhatt has helped raise more than $150,000 for veteran entrepreneurship and education programs, supporting initiatives including the Veterans Pitch Competition, Veterans Leadership Program, Veterans Entrepreneurship Program, Veterans Business Marketplace, Small Business Digital Readiness, and Veterans Biz Battle.

 

He serves as Education Chair for TiE Houston, Global Executive Team Leader for TiE Access, and a business mentor for UH SURE. He holds a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston.

 

Through his work as an entrepreneur, educator, and advocate, Dr. Brahmbhatt continues to support veteran founders and small business owners by connecting them with entrepreneurship education, mentorship, resources, and opportunities to grow.
